| Pictured from left to right are Jonathan, Angela, Benjamin,
Sadie, Sadie, James, and Priscilla, a few of our
[Mr. & Mrs. John A. Hash] great-grandchildren.
They are taught daily biblical truths and the difference between what
is right or sinful. |
It is a horrifying fact that our country is
becoming increasingly hostile toward our children.
Never have children faced so many immoral
temptations dis-played on our televisions and even more subtle, on the Internet where there are
numerous sex perverts searching to de-stroy our children.
But our Lord Jesus is not just standing by
watching all this happen. The Holy Spirit is leading
Bible Pathway to produce a children’s version through-the Bible on Internet and in printed form
to help our children in these perilous times. A Pathway
For Kids that focuses on biblical principles is a monumental task and will require a director,
artist, secretary, and additional equipment to launch this project. Estimated costs for the first year
will be $50,000. We are open to volunteers and suggestions. We are praying for guidance to respond
to this very precious privilege.
In this age of violence our children and
grandchildren need all the spiritual help that we can provide daily. Praise the Lord for our Sunday
schools, but once a week is no longer sufficient. Pray that someone will respond to this precious opportunity.
Reliable reports state that more than 50%
of our teens do not believe in moral absolutes and have been taught through TV, Internet, and numerous
other secular sources, that “all truth is relative to the individual and his or her circumstance.”
This means that if it is something you like or want, then it must be right for you. Many of our
children are ill-equipped to distinguish right from wrong. When a child is taught God’s Word as
their way of life, then the Holy Spirit can prompt them to receive Christ as Savior and Lord of their life.
Children can live only what they know.
We are losing
our children to a Godless culture.
The crisis is real. The opportunity is ours. We must act now.
